my favorite rings. how insanely cool is the weapon on my index finger?!? you can find it at THATdesigns.
really feeling the industrial, repurposed, subway map-like quality of this coat rack.
i was reading about san francisco’s pavement to parks initiative which turns no-man’s-land street edges into small parks or parklets. to my surprise, the powell st. parklet is designed by my professor at cal walter hood! here is my two cents: go bears and i heart sf! read more here.
tonight will be the first day of my loom weaving class at the barnsdall. i am very excited especially since i am taking it with my bestie miss artschool. the last class i took was a lighting studio over a year ago at art center. it is taught by scott and miao from non designs. check out this video of my final project. it is essentially a lightbox constructed of acrylic rods, layers of spandex/mesh fabric, and LED light strips.
i rotate between vons, rite aid, 7-eleven, and seafood city (local filipino supermarket) plastic bags as my lunch pail everyday for work. but wouldn’t this corner store leather bag be way more awesome?! it’s so cool i would even use it on the weekends :)
i’ve been doing a lot of shopping for some special babies in my life. these training dressers for boys and girls are so clean and simple, not to mention adorable. i kind of want one for myself…
